Reflection of Social Media

Social media is one of the tool that helps people connected. Building a relationship, seeking for a job, making agreements, selling products are the purpose of social media. Also, we can increase awareness of social problems throughout social media. Maybe some of people wondering how they use their social media to make the impact for the environment, and what kind of social media that help people aware for this problem. I will explain my analysis about the usage some of the famous social media for campaign. Blogger: From the posts that I’ve posted, I realized that posting my campaign helps people about the social problem that happened. For myself as a writer, I feel more aware and care about the social problem and impact into my daily life. Twitter: By using a twitter, the purpose of the campaign is clear and simple. Also, the power of hashtag (#) and retweet make the information spread faster and wider. YouTube: This is one of the social media tool that effective to help people aware for the social problem. From the video, people get more sense about what kind a campaign that I’m doing and the purpose for it. Facebook: Facebook is the one of the common social media that people use mostly every day. Seeing someone’s activities, posting, chatting, playing games are several of examples why people using this application. There are more than 1 billion people in this world that using a Facebook. Because of its potential, Facebook is one of social media that effective for social problem campaign. Instagram: This is one of social media that helps social problem campaign by the power of its pictures and hashtag (#). By showing the real snapshots of social problems, it’s a one of useful social media that people can use. LinkedIn: This is one of the social media that people usually use for professional relation. By using LinkedIn, we can make a professional connection with people and make the discussion about specific section. This is a good social media for campaign, especially to seek and search people that aware of the social problems. LinkedIn makes our campaign deeper, serious and organize.
